On September 14th and 15th, the XVIII MAPA Dressage PSCJ Final took place at the spectacular facilities of Dos Lunas, coordinated by ANCCE.
A total number of 69 PRE horses took part in the different tests for horses of 4, 5, 6 and 7 years, 26 of them achieving the rating of “excellent”, 9 of “very good” and 17 of “good”. All tests were live broadcast on the ANCCE website and ClipMyHorse.
In the level for 6-year-old horses, we have the participation of Corsaria CAD ridden by María Gómez. On the first day she obtained a 4th place with an average of 75.200%, which improved on the second day being 3rd with an average of 76.600% in a test with the presence of the international judge from Holland Francis Verbeek, and a mark of 8.0 for the Future Expectations. A level in which the positions varied a lot from one day to the next, and thanks to the regularity in the tests on both days, our mare won the Silver Medal in the General Classification, repeating both the position of last year in 5 years as the rating of “excellent”, which at this level was obtained only by four horses.
As indicated on the ANCCE website: It is noteworthy that the majority of those horses classified as “Excellent”, almost 80% of them are descendants of Improved or Elite stallions that appear in the stallion catalogue. These results demonstrate, once again, the ability of these breeders to transmit good characteristics to their offspring and the effectiveness of the selection scheme developed by ANCCE.
With this result, Corsaria remains in eighth position in the ANCCE Ranking for SICAB, the last goal for this season 2022.
From Yeguada Mendoza we once again appreciate all the support provided by our sponsor Git Doc, which makes our presence at these important events possible.
