On July 5th and 6th, another venue for the Young Horses Selection Tests took place at the facilities of Yeguada de la Cartuja (Jerez de la Frontera).
On this occasion we got excellent results in the tests for 4-year-old horses. In the preliminary test on the first day, our stallion Olvido CAD, ridden by Raúl Arcos, achieved the second place with a score of 78.200% in a crowded test with 13 PRE horses, highlighting an 8.2 for his super balanced canter. In the same test, Verdi CAD, ridden by Marta Martínez, managed to close the podium with a third position and a score of 75.200% in his second show. These two horses are sons of our Elite Stallion Jinete IX.
On the second day, Olvido CAD improved his results, winning the test and the ANCCE Cup, being the only horse crossing the 80% barrier, with notes of 8.4 in canter, 8.0 in submission and 8.2 in future expectations. Raúl was also in second position, in this case with Marcha CAD and an a final average of 77.200%, with still room for improvement for this young mare by Quito IV and Jumilla CAD.
