On July 18th, ANCCE made the following news public: “Today, July 18th 2024, the ANCCE Sports Commission has presented to the ANCCE Executive Committee and approved by it, the list of pairs of the 2024 PRE Team drawn up by the coach Daniel Martín Dockx. This list will be sent to the RFHE so that it can make the mandatory nominative registration in time and form for the 2024 World Championship for Young Horses, which will be held from September 4 to 8 in Ermelo (Netherlands).”
In this list we find two of our PRE horses, Olvido CAD at 5 years old and Oliva CAD at 7 years old, both ridden by Raúl Arcos.
In order to achieve this great achievement for Yeguada Mendoza Cadema, both horses have met the minimum requirements demanded by the Spanish Equestrian Federation: two averages higher than 70% in the case of Oliva CAD and 75% in the case of Olvido CAD, achieved throughout the season in two international competitions, or in an international competition and the National Master of Young Horses, from January 2024 until the deadline set on July 14th.
Both pairs also participated in various training camps organised by the trainer throughout the season, as well as a final training camp in the days leading up to the Championship, which will take place in Belgium only for the selected horses and riders.
