These last few weeks, our PRE horses have been participating in some competitions. Firstly, on July 12th and 13th, the last international event counting for the World Championship in Ermelo took place at CECYL, Segovia. Here, Raúl Arcos presented two horses: Olvido CAD (x Jinete IX) in 5 years old tests, and Oliva CAD (x Doblón TR) in 7 years old tests. Olvido CAD finished both days with an average of 77.800%, the first day with an 8.1 for the submission and a fifth place and the second, with marks of 8.0 for the canter, the submission and future expectations. He was the best PRE horse in the test both days. On the other hand, Oliva CAD achieved marks of 68% in the 7-years-old test. Throughout the season, both horses have obtained the minimum averages necessary to be on the final list of horses eligible for the World Young Horse Championship, thus participating these days in the selection clinic with the trainer Daniel Martin Dockx, and we are waiting now to know the final list of selected horses.
At the same time, a CDN** was held in the same facilities, where we were represented by Raúl Arcos and Olé CAD (x Maestro XXII) in the Prix St. George test, achieving a 5th position with a total average of 67.549% in a test with a very high level. On the second day in Intermediate I he managed to be the best PRE horse with an average of 67.990% and a 4th place. Verdi CAD (x Jinete IX) also competed together with Marta Pineda in the tests for 5-years-old horses, achieving averages of 70.400% in the Preliminary and 74.800% in the Final (4th) with a grade of 7.7 for the canter.
At the same time, at Yeguada Anantara, Madrid, another CDN** took place, this time at night, in which Spring CAD (CDE mare x Springbank) debuted, ridden by María Gómez, in the 4-year-old test, achieving 75.400% on the second day in the Final test, with a score of 7.9 for the walk and 7.7 for the canter, winning this test.
The previous weekend, Corsaria CAD (Maestro XXII) participated in the CDN** Antares, Talavera de la Reina, along with María Gómez. In the Prix St. George test, achieving a final average of 68.186% and a second position and 66.863% in the Intermediate I and a first place, winning the ANCCE Cup.
